CHANGE OF JUDGE

Due to Albert Wight ‘s unavailability we have had to make a change of judge for our Championship show on 15th October. Our judge for this show will now be Colin Reed. The Officers and Committee of the Schipperke Club look forward to seeing you at our première event. Our new 2012 Club Calendars will be on sale and our newsletter the Little Skipper will be available to members at this show.
Schipperke Breed Seminar

The Schipperke club, through the generosity of BUBA council, is offering a FREE breed level one seminar and written test on the breed standard, at the BUBA ch. show, Saturday, December 3rd, Stafford Showgrounds, with an anticipated start time of 12:30 p.m. Expected duration is 2 – 2.5 hours, to finish by 3 p.m.
A talk on the breed standard will be given by breed specialist Mr. Ian Millar (Turnlaw), plus some dogs for explanation/practice examination purposes. This will be followed by a written test on the breed standard. Both components (talk and exam) are following the Kennel Club’s “Best Practice” guidelines that require potential judges to fulfill prior to being placed on a breed club’s “B” list. Directions to venue:
Marston Green Parish Hall is situated in Elmdon Road, Marston Green between St. Leonards Church and st. Leonards Close.
To arrive there exit M42 at Junction6. Take the A45 towards Birmingham Airport then take the first exit on to the elevated island of the B4438.
Turn right onto Bickenhill Lane. Just after the fourth island, turn left into Coleshill Heath Road. At the first island turn left into Bickenhill Road.
Turn left into Land Lane and finally into Elmdon Road.
