Resignation has been received from Mr J & Mrs P Allington therefore the Special General Meeting scheduled for 18th October 2014 after the Championship Show will no longer take place.

John Allington has resigned as Chair of Schipperke Club effective immediately. David Peck Vice Chair will assume duties as Acting Chair until AGM 2015.

It has been pointed out that there is a mistake on the printed copy of the Rules & Code of Ethics booklet given out at the Open Show. The word ‘treated’ in item 17) should read ‘tested’.

Point 17) should read:

The Club expects that all breeders, prior to undertaking any mating will test both sire and dam for the MPSIIIB condition. No affected animal should be used in a breeding programme but if an animal which is a carrier is used, all resulting progeny should also be tested for MPSIIIB. If both sire and dam are tested normal then resulting puppies do not need to be tested for MSPIIIB and therefore are deemed to be clear by descent.
