Membership

The Schipperke Club is the only breed club in the UK and its objective is to promote the general interests of the Schipperke encouraging breeding to the Kennel Club Breed Standard.

Additionally the club promotes the breed by offering training events, social events and runs two shows (one Open and one Championship) per year; offering cups and trophies to be competed for.  The Club also offers Schipperke memorabilia for sale.

There are currently three types of membership
(Please see rules for any restrictions):

• Joint (For two persons living at the same address) –
  UK £12.00 p.a.

• Single (For one person only) – UK £10.00 p.a.

• Junior (For persons under the age of 17 years) –
  UK £1.00 p.a.

Upon joining, and pending approval by the committee, new members will automatically become entitled to:

• A copy of the latest newsletter;

• Schipperke Information Pack;

Additionally, members will automatically be entitled to the following benefits:

• An opportunity to raise issues and concerns with the club to aid the breeds welfare and development;
• Reduced entries to Schipperke club shows;
• Two newsletters a year;
• Voting rights at any general meeting (providing full membership is approved / renewed by 31st January (excl. Junior membership);
• Notification of club events, posting of club show schedules etc.
