By kind invitation of the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of GB, we are holding our third Schipperke Fun Day alongside their Spring Garden Party on 3rd May 2025 at Hollowell Steam Rally site. Everyone is welcome, members and non members, to come along and celebrate or find out more about our wonderful versatile breed.
Have a go at activities like agility, scentwork, rally and hoopers. Try your hand at showing your dog by taking part in ringcraft and then entering our fun dog show, with rosettes and prizes to be won. All activities and dog show entries are £1 per go, payable in the ring.
The main event will start at 10am with some demonstrations.
There will then be a chance to have-a-go at the various activities, followed by some fun competitions. There will also be a raffle and the club stand.
We are planning on having a lunch break for a ‘schipnic’ at 12.30 so everyone can get together and have a chat (please bring a chair!) Refreshments are available to purchase all day with thanks to the fab Bernese Club team.
The fun dog show will start at 1pm, with classes just for schipperkes and some for all breeds.
Why not make a weekend of it? Camping (tents/caravans, electric hookup) is available for the whole weekend. We are invited to join the Bernese Club for their Saturday night entertainment and pie and mash supper. Sunday will see their Spring Garden Party with another full day of fun activities and games that we are also welcome to take part in.
